Backing up Blogger

Has anyone used the Export button under settings, basic to make a back-up of their blog just in case blogger ever crashes? I've been noticing a lot of glitches with blogger and don't want to log in one day to find my blog gone. I've already lost my blog roll once.

Any comments on how you back-up your blogger blog? Has anyone turned their blog into a book? How did it come out?

yikes, I'd die if I came on and my blog was gone! Yet I don't know how to do it.
Stopping by from SITS to leave some comment love, have a great day!

I think you can export it and then just keep it on your computer, but I'm not sure how you reinstall it. I haven't backed mine up, but I have been noticing some follower issues today.

Been thinking about that very thing today...was also looking up sites to print out my blog. Can be expensive but I'm guessing more worth it than sitting there and printing it out yourself page by page.

I have never backed mine up either b/c I'm not sure how. If you find out maybe you could do a post about it so the rest of us can know too? :)
I would like to one day make a book out of my blog as well. I haven't looked into it to much though.
Oh, and I'm loving the halloween bloggy makeover...super cute! :)

I do not know how. If you find out let me know. I lost my follower list today. I hope it comes back.

I know that you can export your blog but it doesn't take your followers. I was seeing the problems with the followers today too. I'm thinking I want to make a list of my followers before it happens again. I love your blog. I'm following you now.

As if I didn't already have enough to worry about. Crap. Have no effing clue how you'd go about doing a back up but I'm all ears if you figure it out.

No, I've never backed mine up either. I did see this site: blog2print.com to make a book. It seems pretty resonable, but I don't think you have much creative control.

I would literally cry myself to sleep if my blog up and ran away from home one day. Backing up is on my to do list for today.

I made last years entries into a book. Love it. It was cheap, semi-easy, and now I have it forever, lol

I think I used an actual download button from the html page.

one more daaaaaayyyyyyy! And why oh why, if you are going to put a cliffhanger at the end of one season do you tell who dies in the commercials of the next season. That makes me mad!!!!!!

My husband really wants me to get the blog made into a book we can give our daughter when she gets older.

I need to get on that.

Your post just freaked me out. No, I never back anything up. I have OVER 500 POSTS and I don't know what I'd do if I woke up one day and it was all just gone. Better look into this exporting thing.

Thanks so much for swinging by my blog on my Sits Day last week:-)

I lose my blogroll every once in a awhile. It usually pops back up the next day but I've started to write down blog names also.

I'd never thought of backing up my blog though. I don't know why because I would be very upset if I lost my blog. Can you just export it to a disc?
