Hobby of the Month....Or permanent Fixture?

Finally! After years and years of yearning, I broke down and purchased a REAL camera.

The Canon Rebel. Best Buy had the perfect package, Camera, Bag and extra telephoto Lens for $150 less then what you would pay if bought them separately. I can't wait to purchase filters, as I don't have an editor program such as photo shop at this time.

NO MORE CRAPPY CELL PHONE PICTURES!

I was actually able to take a picture of Emmitt without him looking like a black blur of nothing. I can actually feel the silkiness of his fur just from looking at the photo.

Check out all of the other photos I have taken. Remember I'm still learning how to use the camera and I don't have an editing program to correct brightness, shadows etc. I have to say I'm so impressed with the quality. Then again I'm use to crappy cameras.

I can't wait for The Boy to get back from Disneyland so I can take some photos of him, especially in the pool. I hope to go to The Oakland or Sacramento zoo very soon. I can't wait to take some jungle photos. Maybe even print and frame one of a Giraffe.

you can use free online editing programs...one that seems to be closest to photoshop is gimp and you can download it at www.gimp.org. there are even tutorials for using on their site and all over the web. the no muss-no fuss one is picnik and that one is free to load up your pics and edit. there are some features that are premium (but picnik costs $25 a year so it's super cheap!). you'll be a pro in no time! the rebel xsi was my first camera and it is a FABULOUS camera!

I've been guilty of taking strictly cell pics for ages...but I got a new camera for my bday yesterday and like you am amazed at the difference in quality...I guess I just always figured the cell pics weren't 'that' bad lol.

I live in Massachusetts and my landlord's daughter is giving me a hard time. I want to put up a swing set in my back yard, and my landlord told me (not in writing) that it was fiine, and now his daughter is saying he didn't mean to say that and I can't put it up. My question is, is a swing set considered a permanent fixture, or can I legally put it up because it's a toy for my child and not a permanent attachment to the property?
