Cha Cha Cha CHANGES

I'm so excited, we just purchased the tile to upgrade the floors in all 3 bathrooms, a hallway and our kitchen. We've never done anything like this before so it's a big deal for us. I finally feel like a GROWN UP. OH NO........And I turn 32 on Sunday. Sheeesh!!!!!!

What do you think of the tile?

450 12X12 tiles!

This is the tile for the Master Bathroom upstairs and The Boy's bathroom which is upstairs as well. It's really not as yellow as it appears here, it's more of a sand color. We opted for the lighter color upstairs as apposed to the darker color we picked for the downstairs kitchen, hall and bathroom because it's not as bright upstairs and the darker tile would make the rooms seem smaller and not as bright.

Depending on the budget, after all is done, I'll probably use this same tile in our Laundry room which is also upstairs. This is only if there's money left over.

This is the tile we chose for the kitchen and the downstairs bathroom and hallway. It too looks a bit yellow here and it's not. It's a mocha color with nice swirls in it. It really POPS against the stainless steal appliances. We are going to lay this in the kitchen in a diamond shape instead of the laying them all square side by side. I think it will really make it look a lot more "fancier!" LOL

I feel like we should have tiled both floors with the same tile, however the darker tile just didn't look right upstairs and the lighter tile didn't look as elegant downstairs. I think I watch to much HGTV where they say everything should be the same. Screw HGTV, I'm going with my personal taste and what we think looks good! LOL I didn't mean screw HGTV, I still love them and am hoping I can be on one of their renovation shows. If you're reading this HGTV, my backyard needs a massive make-over!

Hopefully we will be able to start the Master Bath the weekend after Valentines Day. We are just too busy these next few weekends to have it all done.

No we are not doing it ourselves, but we have connections to a tile guy who's amazing. So we are super excited!!!!

Love it! Looks very natural. That's what we have in our bathrooms, not exactly the same, but that's what it looks like. :)

Love it! It'll look great! My hubby tiled our kitchen a couple of years ago and we still love it.

Yeah! And no I do not think the tile upstairs and downstairs needs to be the same. You should take some before and after pictures!!

Happy early birthday! :) I will be the big 30 in October.

oooo Can't wait to see it all finished!! We put those tiles but they look like wood, in the lakehouse and it looks really nice. I use white vinegar on a paper towel to clean it. Happy Birthday fellow Aquarian!

I like both colors very much. My house would not be approved by HGTV. But I live here and have no intentions of selling it any time soon so who cares.

Have a great weekend!

I love the tile! It will look so nice when it's done I'm sure.

Yeah, I use a steam cleaner for my tile (and hardwood and laminate wood floors) - it's awesome!!! :)
