Help Save a life or ten thousand lives and get a free gift!

A note from my Sister and Family,

Unfortunately, too many of us have a loved one affected by heart disease or stroke.

Unfortunately, my families life seemed to almost be turned upside down this past January when my father almost lost his due to heart disease. Because of that, I am asking you to help me raise funds for research.

To help stop this, I will be walking in this year's Start! Heart Walk, benefiting the American Heart Association.

I have set a personal goal to raise funds that are needed for critical heart disease and stroke research and education.I will be walking for this cause on September 17th, 2009.

You can help me raise funds and protect those you love by making a donation online. Click on the link below to visit my personal donation page where you can make a secure online credit card donation. The American Heart Association's online fund raising website has a minimum donation amount of $25.00.

If you prefer a smaller amount, you can do so by sending a check directly to me at:
5375 Rockrose Way, Antioch, CA 94531

I will be taking donations until September 17th. Your donation will make a difference in the fight against our nation's No. 1 and No. 3 killers-heart disease and stroke.

Thank you for your support.

AKA my SISTER!
That's my sister and her son. She's probably gonna kill me for posting this crazy haired picture, but hey don't you want to see the person your donating money too. Yeah she's walking on the 17th of September. Show her some love.

FREE GIFT TO RECOGNIZE OUR APPRECIATION FOR YOUR DONATION!

1) In order to support my sister I have decided to donate these great chalkboards to her and her cause. We have decided that the first 3 people to donate $25 will get their choice of one of these 3 super cute chalkboards, and YES I MADE THEM. First come, first serve.

2) For EVERYONE who makes either an online donation, or even mails $1 to her in the mail (we don't care if it's a quarter every penny counts) we will recognize your blog here on my blog site and on my sister's facebook page.

3) GUESS WHAT, did you know this charitable donation is TAX DEDUCTIBLE. Oh yes it is.

This is our Dad, isn't he cute? Ladies he is single and since his open heart surgery he says he's 25 again. In order to support the cause I think we might even auction him off (having Coyote Ugly flashbacks here.) Oh and that is Zoe, she sadly past away recently, she was a great dog and lived a really long great life.

If you are unable to make a donation that is okay too, as we understand in this economy it is money is very tight. You can still do your part to help us out. If you could post on your blog a link to mine in hopes of bringing more traffic to this post in hopes to obtain more donations. As a thank you for doing so, you will also be recognized here on my blog and on my sister's facebook page.

DO YOU TWEET? I don't but I heard it's a wonderful way to get "the word out." If you tweet this post, I will also give your blog recognition here on my page and on my sister's facebook site.

IMPORTANT:
If you make a donation whether online or in the mail and if you post a link to this posting on your blog or tweet, please make sure to click on my contact me button (top left side bar) to let me know so you can be recognized on our sites and receive your free gift if you are one of the first 3 people to donate.

Thank you so much!! I normally don't do giveaways or ask anything from anyone, but this is really important to our family and possibly yours or someone else you might know.

This is completely awesome, and I will be blogging about it in the morning!
And BTW, I have no willpower with electronics either. Stupid addictive things. Why were they ever invented?

What a wonderful thing you are doing! I actually don't know anyone who has been affected by heart disease (shocker, I know) but I still think it is one of those things that would be great if a cure could be discovered. What a wonderful cause!
Thank you so much for visiting my blog. I wish you the best of luck with your fundraiser!

You're such a lovely daughter to do this in honor of your dad, and all those afflicted with heart disease. This is definitely a fundraiser I would support!
